Oliver G. Prince Jr., Partner

Oliver is an accomplished executive coach, advisor, and former C-level corporate executive who has a strong record of success in leading transformational change, building effective organizations, developing superior talent, and inspiring others to achieve their highest aspirations. Currently, he focuses on delivering executive coaching, organization development, strategic planning, and corporate governance. His international work with organizations, C-level and senior executives spans a wide array of industry verticals and includes both the for profit and not-for-profit sectors. He has extensive experience in coaching senior leaders to maximize their effectiveness as they transition into new roles as well as in coaching leaders who are seasoned in their roles to help them discover their next level of performance and maximize the contribution of their teams. Oliver leverages his educational in law and finance into an array of rich and diverse business experiences.

Oliver has deep professional services experience as a partner in a business consultancy which offered an array of services and patent pending tools that are designed to enable executives to foster strategic alignment, lead change, and mitigate operational risk. His consulting approach and tools were also designed to facilitate stronger corporate governance and improve the effectiveness of boards in performing their strategic oversight roles.

As a corporate executive, Chief Talent and Human Resources Officer at a leading software and services firm for the insurance industry, he helped lead an organizational makeover and business turnaround that resulted in a four-fold increase in enterprise value over a five-year period. Before that, he served as a senior executive in a number of industry leading firms, where his roles spanned business operations, change leadership, and leader and organization development, his practical experience includes corporate governance, strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, and process improvement.

Oliver has spoken extensively on strategy, change leadership, and human capital issues and he is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, serving as an Instructor in the Masters of Learning and Organizational Change program.

Oliver has a strong commitment to education and public service. His civic affiliations have included board leadership roles in a variety of social service and education organizations. Oliver served as Treasurer of the board of the Black Ensemble Theater Company in Chicago - a not-for-profit organization that seeks to improve self-esteem and achievement among young people in under-served communities by providing formal theater arts education programs through the Chicago Public Schools. He is past board Chair and a long-term trustee at Asheville School, one of the nation’s leading prep schools. He is also a director at the Old Town School of Music in Chicago, the country’s largest community music school. Nationally, Oliver serves as Vice President of the board of the Independent Schools Chairpersons Association.
