Beau River, Founder + Managing Partner
Through his portfolio career, Beau has been a professional athlete, combat PTSD clinician and professional services executive. The common theme across his experiences is continuous learning to deliver a world-class performance. After being inspired by many entrepreneurs and operators, Beau founded LDP with the mission of helping clients navigate the challenging process of realizing potential to turn leadership into a strategic advantage. He loves the blend of art and science, business and psychology that creates actionable solutions for executives and organizations.
Beau is committed to building transformative partnerships based on mutual trust and a deep understanding of client business needs. He is passionate about fostering stellar talent management and promoting human development in a way that drives business growth. Beau brings a personal perspective on what it takes to address psychological barriers and build on natural abilities to lift performance to new levels. LDP builds client relationships in a similar fashion, matching existing capabilities with fresh insights that promote new leadership strengths, confidence and grace under pressure to facilitate exceptional execution. The result is leaders who can adapt with their organizations and lead with equal parts humility, curiosity and confidence. His coaching is fundamentally focused on bringing the best out of people by accelerating the development of executives and their teams.
His professional experience reflects his appreciation of diversity, with clients from the middle market to family/privately operated companies and Fortune 50 organizations. He has supported leaders across functional disciplines and worked in a range of industries. Beau and LDP Partners offer strategic talent management services including: executive assessment, executive coaching, Strong Team Solutions, succession planning, leadership development programming, leadership capability modeling, organizational assessments, culture stocktaking and board evaluations. The goal of all these services is to support clients in selecting the most talented leaders to take their organizations forward.
As a faculty member at Northwestern University, Beau has taught executive coaching, women’s leadership executive education, and executive assessment.
