Andrew (Drew) M. Rand, Partner

With over a decade of experience in leadership and organizational assessment and development, Dr. Rand specializes in the psychological assessment of individuals, teams, and organizations.

As a Partner with LDP and the founder and president of Rand Consulting Group, Andrew utilizes psychological testing, interviewing, and behavioral observation to provide recommendations for targeted leadership development efforts and facilitated developmental feedback sessions. His leadership coaching experience ranges from individual contributors to CSuite executives. His work also includes succession planning, team awareness, and development.

Prior to founding RCG, Andrew worked for Management Research Group (MRG) where he oversaw the design and maintenance of MRG’s suite of assessments. He was also a key component of their practitioner team, delivering assessment education, leadership coaching, and team development. He’s also helped develop a global leadership development training program and participated in employee life cycle recruitment efforts through individual assessment and assessment centers.

In his role, Andrew enjoys helping clients with complex questions around leadership selection and development, executive coaching, and organizational development. Organizations are comprised of uniquely human pieces. Yet at times, it’s unclear how they best fit together. He helps bring this into simple and effective focus by sharing what clients need to be their best.

Andrew earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. While he holds multiple licenses in varying assessments, he has deep connection for the Management Research Group (MRG) suite of assessments. He’s also a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association.

In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, running, golfing, and building in his workshop.
